CalSync requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar from Google and Calendars.ReadWrite from Microsoft. Both are needed for the same two reasons: to read the events on a calendar you choose to mirror, and to write the mirrored copies onto the calendar you choose to mirror them to. CalSync requests no other scopes, and does not access mail, contacts, files, or any other data in your account.
CalSync does not sell your data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train machine learning models. Your calendar data is used for one purpose: mirroring the calendars you asked it to mirror.
Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database and processed on Microsoft Azure, both in the United States.
Disconnecting an account deletes its stored tokens and the mirrored-event records for its connections. You can also revoke CalSync's access directly at any time, from Google account permissions or Microsoft account permissions; CalSync loses access at its next attempt to read or write that calendar, and the stored token stops working. To have all data deleted, email the address below.
CalSync is built and operated by an independent developer, not a company. Questions about this policy, or requests to delete your data, reach a real person at the address below.
